In 2015, I was visiting Mom in Arkansas. We were talking about my artwork and how everyone in my immediate family had an original creation of mine. Except for my brother, Jason. I told her then and there that I would draw her and give the artwork to my brother.
That happened in 2018 - three years later. Hey, family stuff is never straight-forward or easy.
Mom wanted Jason to have a picture of her as a young woman - in the prime of life. She sent me quite a number of photographs to take a look at in consideration, and I finally settled on one. But I found myself referring back to all of them as I worked, so this is basically a composite.
Here's lookin' at you, Mom. :)
