When my second daughter was young, she loved Winnie the Pooh so much that I decided to draw the two of them together! This was such a fun one to do, and it hangs in our living room to this day.
Marina is an adult now and though I've tried several times to give her the artwork, she won't have anything to do with it ... because of the gap between the teeth. I guess that as an artist, I was more concerned with getting the details exactly right that fixing little things like that. Her adult teeth have come in just fine and there is no longer a gap but hey, it's one of the things that make this picture so adorable.
I've given up trying to get her to take the artwork. For one, it's the only time anyone has ever turned down my offer to give them one of my art pieces! Oh, the rejection! But it's all good - I enjoy this every time I look at it ... which is every day. :)
