This, my eighth completed art original of 2018, is titled "Depressolation." It features elements from all three Lars von Trier movies that make up the so-called "Depression Trilogy." Those movies are "Melancholia," "AntiChrist" and "Nymphomaniac." There are common elements between all three movies, and some of those are captured here.
Charlotte Gainsbourg's moving narrative throughout the course of the "Nymphomaniac" movie(s) inspired her look and expression depicted in this piece.
I will let the work speak for itself.
Media: Pen and ink

Technical pens were the mainstay of the designer and illustrator's craft before the development of computer graphics. Now, many art enthusiasts are rediscovering the technical pen because its handiwork stands out almost magically against the bland precision of computer rendered graphics. My work has always been produced with the best technical pens and durable India inks available.
